Calling all those who love dressing in all black! For those who are a part of the monochrome club, hope on over to the ombré train as well. The Fall/Winter 2018 Couture shows displayed some good reasons on why the coming seasons will be integrating ombré into their looks. The above Elie Saab dresses are elegant and formal, but have an added playfulness with the ombré. Transform an otherwise seen dress using ombré, and by even combining various colors. FRINGE

If you read the last blog post all about metallic, tinsel fringe, you know how filled the 2018 F/W Couture runways were filled with fringe! The trend continues to be revolutionized, but this time joins forces with ombré. The Giambattista Valli look on the left was a personal favorite, as the ombré is more subtle and a detail.

Hopefully this post has given you some added inspiration and a revamp for your monochrome wardrobe! It's also a nice way to incorporate some color into your outfits, as pairing the ombré piece with black or white can help downplay the vibrancy of the colors.

mmmm as a fan of black, I'm not on this trend. I don't know, I can't do trends because as soon as ombre is gone, we'll be right back to monochrome/all black. That's just me though - me and Wednesday Addams, we know where it's at.

Wearing something different from your regular attire is always hard at first, but it might be a fun opportunity to try something out of your comfort zone and explore different fashion styles. Plus, if you like a trend enough once you try it out, you can still wear it even if it isn't so called "in".
