Across the New York Fashion Week runways, I also saw numerous looks that had long denim jackets and coats finishing off different outfits. The above Creatures of the Wind look, who are also featured in my previous post, had the denim coat as the staple piece, along with a scarf and orange pants. Colovos also had a look that seemed to be denim on denim, and the different shades really helped the outfit pop. Check out the pieces below to snag your own long denim coat, and continue reading to see other looks that put a twist on the classic jean jacket.

One of my favorite denim jackets that walked the runway was this Nicole Miller piece that had sort of embroidery along the ends, putting an interesting spin to jean jackets and the embroidery trend! Below are some really cute embroidered and patched denim jackets, which are followed with an interesting take on this trend.
Marc Jacobs dazzled his show using interesting materials, and these two looks totally replicated the long denim coat trend. Replicating the style with a different material seemed like an interesting way to stand out and be different, while still following trends. Following the items below, there may just be a way to achieve this trend right in your closet, so keep reading!
Carolina Herrera
I found it so cool that Carolina Herrera decided to do separates! Yes, the above look is a denim jacket with a denim pencil skirt! Check out the pieces below to make your own pairing, which means you can add on the embroidery, patch, or bow trend.
If you are all for the denim trend, but would rather just go for something easier, check out the denim dresses below. One of the pieces as well can be unbuttoned and worn as a coat; so you can get creative! I hope you enjoyed this post, and make sure to subscribe below if you would like more!
